Betty White’s birthday is coming, and fans are demanding that she be protected at all costs.
She’s one of the greatest to ever do it, and as her 100th birthday nears in January, her fans are stressing the need for her to be protected. And by protection, they mean protected by “national security.”
The call for national security comes after the actress trended on social media and everyone thought she’d passed away. To avoid the possibility of something terrible happening to White, people are calling for her to have security around her on her birthday. “Please provide her with national security protection and wrap her safely in bubble wrap,” one person tweeted.
Another person wrote, “Betty White is 99 years old and 3 months away from 100; please provide her with national security protection and wrap her safely in bubble wrap; we love her.”
But no need to worry, White said earlier this year that she is in good health and is being “extra careful” in the midst of the pandemic. White says no matter how old she sees she always sees the grander view of life. “Don’t take yourself too seriously. You can lie to others — not that I would — but you cannot lie to yourself,” she previously told PEOPLE.
