Fans Suspect Future Is Dissing Gunna on Latest Release: “You Done Took a Plea on My Slime”

It looks like Future still has some animosity built up with Gunna and his involvement in Young Thug’s YSL case involvement. 

On Friday, FERG unveiled his newest track, “Allure” featuring Future and produced by Mike Will Made-it. Hendrix used his verse to seemingly take shots at his one-time collaborator, who he deems to be a rat. 

“You done took a plea on my slime/ Won’t be surprised if you ended up dead,” Future rapped.

Fans quickly speculated that this was in regard to Gunna’s now-infamous 2022 Alford plea.  This type of deal with prosecutors allows defendants to maintain their innocence while still admitting that they could possibly be found guilty of crimes if they were tried.  Gunna has been vocal that he did not cooperate against Thug in any way.  Still, that has not stopped many of his rap colleagues from distancing themselves from him.  This includes former friends Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Future.  However, fans have not turned their backs on him as he continues to tour the country following the release of his May 2024 fifth studio album, “One of Wun,” which is now RIAA-certified gold.  Young Thug’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., has also come to Gunna’s defense, stating publicly that Gunna did not do anything that may hurt Thug’s case. He ultimately received a five-year suspended sentence.

Nevertheless, it’s evident that Future is the latest star to send shots at Gunna over the YSL drama.
