Fantasia Defends Her New Man’s Checkered Past

Just weeks ago Fantasia showed off the new man in her life. It’s rumored that the two secretly got married and maybe it would’ve been better off that she kept it a secret because now all of his skeletons are falling out of his closet. 

Over the weekend Fantasia took to Instagram to defend her man, Kendall Taylor, saying that he’s been in trouble in the past, but has turned his life around and that’s why she loves him most. What did Taylor do? According to  lovebscott.com, he was arrested in February 2000 and September 2000 for assaulting a female, arrested again in December 2002 for possession of a firearm by a felon, in December 2007 for drug possession with intent to sell and in January 2012 for failure to pay child support. Since then he’s seemed to be on the straight and narrow, now holding the position of COO of Metro Transportation Services. 

Here’s what Fanny had to say about her new man. She seems very happy.

You know what..at this point, if Fantasia likes it, I love it. He went to jail in the past but it seems like he’s an upstanding citizen now. A COO position isn’t an easy one to get.  I also read that he takes part in a lot of community projects and has been honored recently. Maybe this is a good thing. Men who’ve been through some things in life tend to value when they have something good by their side. Maybe he understands her more, because he too has had it rough. She seems happy and at least he’s not married currently. Seems like a step up to me.  I wonder when she’ll finally spill the tea on them getting married though.
