As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread, infecting more than 1.4 million people worldwide, brands and businesses are stepping up and stepping in to aid their consumers in any way they can.
In fact, one of the most searched fast-fashion brands is teaming up with one of music’s biggest artists to help those directly impacted by the coronavirus.
Fashion Nova Cares is a brand new philanthropic initiative created to give away $1 million to those affected by the deadly pandemic. In collaboration with Cardi B, Fashion Nova Cares will be giving away $1,000 every hour until May 20th.
“People are struggling to pay rent, buy food, medicine and other essentials for themselves and their families. We all feel compassion and concern for those affected by the coronavirus,” Founder and CEO of Fashion Nova, Richard Saghian said. “Fashion Nova Cares with Cardi B will provide people with necessary relief to help them get through this crisis. As a community-driven brand, we are inspired by the kindest and generosity of others and we wanted to do our part to help those in need.”
“Everyone has been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic,” Cardi said, according to a press release. “Fashion Nova CAres and I have come with a way to help the many families in need.”
To be eligible for the opportunity, consumers are encouraged to share their stories about how they’ve been directly impacted by the pandemic by logging on to http://FashionNova.com/cares. One story will be chosen every hour, and selected stories will be shared on Fashion Nova’s website and Instagram Stories.
“All of us have to play a part in supporting the communities that we serve,” Saghian added. “Our Fashion Nova Cares initiative will continue beyond the current challenges of COVID-19 with additional endeavors and programs that will further help make a positive impact in people’s lives.”
