The college admissions scandal bust didn’t stop one celebrity kid from getting into a top university on their own merit.
Felicity Huffman’s oldest daughter, Sophia Macy, has been accepted to the drama program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh after retaking the SATs – by herself this time.
On Sunday, Sophia posted the school logo and two smiley heart emojis, adding “CMU Drama ’24” to her bio.
This comes after her mother served 11 days in jail for paying $15,000 to have her daughter’s SAT scores corrected, without her knowledge.
“Felicity is so proud and grateful that Sophia has kept her chin up over the last year. It was a painful, challenging time, and she pulled through it with strength and grace,” a source told Page Six.
