Earlier this week, Fetty Wap’s personal life got a little less personal. The rapper’s sex tape with his ex-girlfriend, Alexis Skyy leaked, sparking a series of legal exchanges.
“All of this is so crazy & embarrassing!!” Skyy wrote on Instagram Tuesday (Jan 10). “To think SOMEBODY would want to expose my personal life with the world is so disgusting but I have faith in God’s work & I know I’m covered! Sorry to my family & supporters for this.”
The video appeared to include explicit footage of the former couple. However, while Skyy addressed her family and supporters, Fetty Wap remained mum about the situation before filing legal documents to make it all go away.
According to TMZ, Fetty’s lawyers drafted cease and desist letters to websites posting the video clip and also to Skyy.
“You must IMMEDIATELY STOP the distribution and/or attempted distribution of this alleged video to any and all media outlets.”
The letter also threatens to sue if the video isn’t removed from the Internet. In turn, Skyy fired back with legal threats of her own.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Skyy accused the “My Way” rapper of leaking the video clip of their intimate moments, or at least someone close to him. She says it was probably, “released by someone gaining access to the materials through him, with or without his knowledge.” Especially, since they both claim they are the only two with access to the video.
However, Fetty accuses her of the same thing.
At this point, the situation has turned into a continuous blame game.
