Finesse2Tymes is in more legal drama after a driver was injured in a shooting back in 2023.
The Memphis rapper is being sued by his former driver, Ernest Flores, who claims he was caught in the crossfire of a chaotic shooting outside the now-closed Cosmopolitan Premier Lounge near Atlanta on June 18th, 2023.
According to legal documents, Flores was hired to work for Finesse2Tymes during Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash Weekend after-party. Despite the known risks of criminal activity and a packed venue, the club still allowed the rapper to perform.
Around 3 AM, gunfire erupted, injuring five people, including Flores. He says he took a bullet to the head and vividly recalls his blood-soaked clothes and a bullet hole in his baseball cap as chilling reminders of how close he came to death.
Flores alleges Finesse2Tymes failed to provide adequate security, leading to the violent outbreak. Now, he’s suing for emotional distress, medical expenses, and pain and suffering.
Meanwhile, the rapper is also facing separate legal troubles, including an active warrant for his arrest stemming from threats allegedly made against the guardian of his former artist, FNG King.
