Five people have been arrested in connection to the February 19th murder of Brooklyn rapper, Pop Smoke.
The incident occurred in Hollywood Hills around 4:30 am when four masked men broke into the home and fired shots, striking the rapper. The men then fled on foot, as Smoke was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Now, nearly five months after the shooting, police have arrested five people in connection to the case.
Early Thursday morning, police said they executed a slew of search warrants across Los Angeles, which led to the arrest of three adults and two juveniles in connection to Pop’s death.
Although the charges remain unclear, sources tell the publication that the five individuals were taken in for questioning and booked after their interviews.
