After all the controversy surrounding Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes, as the bowl season approaches, they were finally rewarded with some good news. The number one offensive lineman in the country from IMG, Jordan Seaton, has just filled a huge void on the offensive line for the struggling Buffs for next season.
Thursday on FS1’s “Undisputed,” Seaton officially announced his commitment to play for Coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
Despite initial speculations favoring Tennessee or Ohio State to secure the talents of the 6’5” standout, Sanders and his team successfully recruited Seaton. Hailing from the DMV, Seaton marks the first five-star commitment for the Buffs in the 2024 Class, solidifying a promising future for the team.
The commitment surprised many due to the offensive line challenges Colorado had all season. Protecting Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was a major problem this year, and Seaton plans to change that.
Michael Irvin’s joy for his friend Deion was evident this morning on Undisputed. The NFL Hall of Famer mentioned that this young man did not commit to a powerhouse football school. His competitive edge persuaded his decision to go to Colorado.
“I feel like everything that comes easy is nothing worth having. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re going to get the guys we need to get and we will play for a national championship,” a confident Seaton said as he sat at the Undisputed Desk in shades and Colorado hat.
Deion has received a player who exudes confidence and, thus far, has backed it up on the field. This comes at a time when doubters thought Sanders and this team would hit a setback with players entering the transfer portal and Coaches leaving for other opportunities.
