Flavor Flav was arrested on Oct 5, for a minor charge of domestic battery in Nevada, TMZ reports.
The rapper was taken to jail and sent to the Henderson Detention Center after police responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute.
In documents obtained by the outlet, Flav reportedly put his finger inside the victim’s nose, grabbed her, shoved her down, and pulled a phone out of her hand.
He has been charged with misdemeanor battery constituting domestic violence, said the City’s Attorney.
“In alleged domestic violence cases, there are often 2 sides to the story and we will explain our side in the courtroom and not in the media,” Flav’s attorney, David Chesnoff told TMZ.
Meanwhile, Flavor Flav’s manager says, Flav will celebrate a year of sobriety and that he has stopped smoking cigarettes for over 15 months.
