Flavor Flav is standing with Megan Thee Stallion after she was targeted with a deepfake sexually explicit video.
Over the weekend, a video created by artificial intelligence went viral on social media of the Houston rapper. Shortly after, Megan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday to address the video and clarified that the clip was not real.
“It’s really sick how yall go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning,” she wrote. “Yall going too far, Fake ass shit. Just know today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.”

Later that day, Megan hit the stage in Tampa, Florida for her Hot Girl Summer tour. During the “Cobra” performance, Megan paused for a moment to fight back tears. After collecting herself, the 29-year-old rapper proceeded to finish out the song but still struggled to rap the lyrics. It’s unclear what prompted the emotional moment but many guessed it was due to the a.i. video.
Additionally, rapper Flavor Flav came to Megan’s defense and called for fans to stop antagonizing celebrities as they’re providing entertainment for the public.
“Y’all leave this QUEEN alone,,, entertainers are here to entertain and bring y’all happiness,,, we ain’t doing it at the cost of our own. This is why we can’t have nice things. SMH,” he said.

Nevertheless, outside of the drama, Megan has currently been having much success while on tour with GloRilla. The Hot Girl Coach first announced her Hot Girl Summer Tour back in January shortly after the release of single “HISS,” which debuted No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. To add on to her list of accomplishments, Megan is also set to release her self-titled album later this month and revealed the alternate cover for her LP this past weekend, marking her first full-length project as an independent artist.
