She’s the 9-year-old Instagram wild child who’s “flexing on most rappers.” But where did #LilTay come from? Is she as rich as she says or is it just an act? According to an interview, the Insta-famous kid’s being is all a strategic plan to get her to stardom.

The Blast caught up with Lil’ Tay’s consultant, Alex Loyalty, who acts as a strategist for Lil Tay’s journey to fame. Loyalty said, “From the surface, it’s easy for the average viewer, reader or observer to make the wrong assumptions about Lil Tay but what they fail to realize is that the independent artist Lil Tay can be compared to any other youth artist or entertainer in the entertainment industry.”

Loyalty added, “She’s able to have a greater influence over her content because she promotes herself within her own platform rather than have her exact natural persona written up in a script, hired by a talent agency and placed in a television show or movie.” However, footage has been released of Tay literally reading off a script and being coached by her brother to sound “ignorant” when she talks about her made up life.

In addition, the “gangsta” and violent act is all a facade. According to Loyalty, Tay is never in harm’s way and is always “in the presence of guardians, security, and support.” Even during #BhadBhabie and #WhoahVicky’s confrontation at the mall, which originally was supposed to be a meeting about the artists potentially collaborating.

Nonetheless, Loyalty says people have issues with Tay because they don’t understand her fame in the still-developing digital influencer world. Lil Tay’s future plans include continuing to “create motivating and entertaining content.” Artists like RichTheKid, #BlacYoungsta, #ChiefKeef and #6ix9ine have reached out to collaborate with the child.
