Police say that a Florida man was cited for having a truck that resembled Border Patrol vehicles with the word “Booty Patrol” painted on the back.
According to The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was pulled over Sunday and cited under a law that deals with prohibited vehicle lights that resemble those of law enforcement or other officials.
Earlier this week, the sheriff’s office posted photos of the “Booty Patrol” to raise awareness about the impersonation of authorities on social media. The truck featured “Booty Patrol” on the back and a green stripe on the side panels.
So far, the “Booty Patrol” truck with red and blue lights has been seen in multiple counties, and the driver’s identity remains unknown.
