Police in Florida said a man went on a deranged rampage and had sex with dogs in front of families, then destroyed a church nativity while attempting to escape.
36-year-old Chad Mason is accused of going on a sick crime spree while walking a friend’s labradoodle Friday in a quiet neighborhood of Clearwater.
According to Fox 13, he started having sex with the dog in front of several onlookers, including a child.
When confronted, he ran toward a nearby Northwood Presbyterian Church, where he smashed several potted plants and toppled a Christmas nativity scene.
Police said, “When he was confronted by someone at the apartment complex there, he ran from the scene and began to wreak havoc in the surrounding area.”
A police report states Mason attempted to steal a car before destroying a mailbox.
Mason was arrested after several witnesses called 911. He has been charged with multiple criminal charges, including indecent exposure and criminal mischief at a place of worship.
He was released on bond and will appear in court later this month.
