A Florida man has confessed to the murder of his mother in an argument over orange juice.
According to ABC 15, 29-year-old Luis Pages shot and killed his mother, 59-year-old Miriam Gonzalez, on Sunday night after an argument in their North Miami Beach home. Police say the argument was over orange juice, an air conditioner remote, and the use of her vehicle.
After the shooting, Pages called 911 and told an officer, “Take me to jail.” He said he ”lost it” after the Sunday night argument, and told investigators that he tried to shoot himself too, but there were no more bullets.
Pages is currently being charged with one count of second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
