Florida Man Spits In Boy’s Face For Refusing To Remove His Mask

47-year-old Jason Copenhaver was arrested on Sunday after spitting in a kid’s face.

While at a restaurant on Sunday, Copenhaver approached a boy’s table and demanded him to remove his mask. When the boy refused, “Copenhaver grabbed the boy’s hand and put his face next to the child’s, telling the boy he now had coronavirus,” Treasure Island police say.

Copenhaver, who told police he’s never been tested for the virus, was so close to the boy, spit ended up landing on his face.

Jason Copenhaver was charged with simple battery and disorderly conduct. It is not likely he will see jail time.
