A Florida teen admitted to following two women home and killing them.
Sage Curry, 19, reportedly killed the two women in Largo Monday night after seeing them in public earlier that same day. According to the police, Curry followed the women home and then crawled through a bedroom window while sleeping. The young man then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and started to attack the women. The women were a mother and daughter who lived together at their home.
According to the report, Curry stabbed the first woman several times in her chest while she slept and then stabbed the second woman after she came in to defend the sleeping victim. Apparently, he asked a neighbor to help him after killing the women because the second woman had wounded him during their encounter.
A former co-worker of Curry said hearing about Curry’s killing was shocking. “Just shock overall, I’d never think someone like this could do something like that. So just shocked right now,” said former co-worker Jordan Martin. Martin claimed Curry was “nice” and “quiet.”
The teen was assigned a public defender on Tuesday. He will stay in the Pinellas County Jail until his trial.
