A South Florida man has been identified as the streaker who rushed onto the field at Raymond James Stadium during Super Bowl LV, causing a momentary delay in the game.
According to USA Today, Yuri Andrade, 31, a Boca Raton resident, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and booked into Hillsborough County Jail early Monday.
Andrade ran onto the field at about the five minute mark in the fourth quarter of the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was able to duck security before eventually being tackled near the endzone and placed into handcuffs, and led off the field.
During the romp, Andrade pulled down his shorts to reveal a pink thong bodysuit. The Sun-Sentinel reports that he did it to promote a pornographic site, which was emblazoned across the front of his bodysuit.
He described himself to the police as “self employed” in “international business,” according to the outlet. He posted $500 and was released on Monday morning.
There was no shame in his game: Andrade posted the stunt all over his Instagram. He even implored the Chiefs to sign him in one of his captions.
