Florida Man Tries To Throw Alligator Onto A Building Rooftop

A Florida man took a live alligator he stole from a miniature golf course and tried to throw it onto the roof of a building, telling cops he did it because he was “teaching it a lesson.”

According to WSVN, Daytona Beach Shores police officers arrested 32-year-old William Hodge after they spotted him trying to throw the gator onto the roof of a cocktail lounge.

The police reported that officers watched him take the alligator by its tail, hit it against the awning of the building, toss it on the ground, and then stomped on it twice.

The man was taken into custody and charged with possession, theft, injury of an alligator, unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling, and criminal mischief.
