A Florida teacher has been charged after a missing teen was found at her home.
After receiving tips and information on a missing teen’s whereabouts, the child was found in the home of 31-year-old Kelly Simpson. The boy’s parents reported that he was missing on Aug. 12.
Fox News reports the woman allegedly picked up the teen from an unknown place and hid him in her home, all while knowing he was reported as missing. She’s now been arrested for interfering with the custody of a minor, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing, and those who have other information about the case are being asked to contact the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office at 941-639-2101.
