The parents of a Florida baby who was ejected during a rollover crash last year and drowned in a swamp were arrested Tuesday and face numerous charges.

Marc Dorizar, 34, is charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child. His children’s mother, 32-year-old Charline Coriolan, is charged with multiple counts of child abuse and neglect.

The crash, which occurred on September 3, injured numerous people. Surveillance footage was taken from a toll plaza on Aligator Alley, which connects Florida’s east and west coasts, and shows 1-year-old Marven sitting in his mother’s lap. The video footage also shows three other children and an adult sitting in the bed of the pickup truck.

An hour later, as the family neared Fort Lauderdale, the truck blew a tire. Dorizar lost control of the vehicle and went off the highway, crashing through a fence, before overturning. Investigator’s found Marven’s body in a nearby swamp about two hours after the crash. The other children were also injured.

Dorizar knew the tire was unsafe but still drove the truck.

Dorizar and Coriolan were being held without bail Friday pending transfer to Broward County.
