A Florida middle school teacher is facing charges after detectives say she organized fights in her classroom.
Court documents obtained by WCTV noted that 23-year-old Angel Footman organized a fight club in her class at Griffin Middle School in Tallahassee on March 22 and March 23, where several six-graders were allowed to scrap it out. The students told detectives they participated in the planned fights under Footman’s conditions of “30 seconds, no screaming, no yelling, no phones.” They said they were also invited back for additional fights.
A School Resource Deputy was alerted about the incidents on March 24. A probable cause affidavit revealed that videos of the fights showed Footman sitting on her desk, failing to intervene, instead telling students, “no screaming, no nothing” and “stop pulling hair.”
Footman denied organizing the fights but admitted she failed to call for help or take action to stop the fights and report the incidents to administration.
The teacher now faces four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. An arraignment is scheduled for May 4.

I taught 8 grade. They would fight at a drop of a hat. Throw new books across the room or out the door.
