Despite Floyd Mayweather‘s love for extravagant spending, even he feels like purchasing a cap for $1 million is excessive.
The rumor of Mayweather’s hefty purchase started circulating when he shared a picture of himself wearing a diamond-encrusted black TMT snapback. He wore the stunning headwear at ringside during Gervonta Davis’ impressive knockout win against Ryan Garcia in Las Vegas last weekend.
Although Mayweather takes pride in his luxurious lifestyle, he felt the need to address the rumors surrounding his hat and clear the air. Upon learning of the rumors regarding his hat’s cost, Mayweather utilized his social media platform to disclose the actual price of the hat.
“I don’t know who started the rumour that my hat was a million dollars,” he began on his Instagram story. “But it was 30K.” In another post, Mayweather added, “30K is still a pricey number for a Snapback.”

On another note, since retiring, Mayweather has participated in several exhibition bouts, and it was recently disclosed that he would face former MMA fighter and professional boxer John Gotti III. Despite Gotti’s 2-0 professional boxing record, the upcoming match will also be an exhibition bout. Mayweather has already squared off against Logan Paul, Deji – a British YouTuber, and most recently, Aaron Chalmers, a former Geordie Shore personality.
