Another big named company has announced that they were cutting ties with Kanye West following his recent online outburst and anti–Semitic comments.
On Tuesday, Foot Locker revealed that they would be pulling all Yeezy shoes from its stores.
According to a Foot Locker employee, the company sent out an email instructing them to remove all Yeezy shoes from the sales floor.
Employees were also advised to hold the shoes in the backroom until further notice.
“Foot Locker, Inc. does not tolerate any form of antisemitism, or hateful and discriminatory behavior,” the company said. “While we remain a partner with adidas and carry a wide assortment of their collections — we will not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”
Unfortunately, Foot Locker could significantly suffer from the loss of Yeezy sales. Just recently the retailer revealed that there would be fewer Nike items in select store locations.
