A fan has died following a tumble on an escalator at Acrisure Stadium during the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets game this past Sunday.
According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, police arrived shortly after the man fell at around 4:45 pm following the Jets’ win against the steelers 24-20.
The victim was reported dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.
He was later identified as Dalton Ryan Keane, 27, of Monaca, Pennsylvania.
“We are aware of an unfortunate incident that occurred inside Acrisure Stadium today,” the Steelers said in a statement. “We are working with local authorities and helping their investigation into the matter. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to the guest’s family.”
