Forbes has released its annual list of the highest paid actresses and sitting at the top of that list is Scarlett Johansson.

Johansson, 33, pulled in a whopping $40.5 million between June 2017 and Jun 2018 making her the actress who is bringing home the biggest check. Johansson’s recent role includes Marvel superhero “Black Widow” in the hit superhero series The Avengers.
Following right behind Johansson is 43-year-old Angelina Jolie who raked in $28 million thanks to her payoff for Maleficent 2 which is scheduled for 2020. Coming in third is Jennifer Aniston who is still collecting residual checks for her role as “Rachel” in the hit 90s sitcom Friends. This year her income came out to $19 million.
In fourth place is Jennifer Lawrence who not only received money from her films #Mother!, #RedSparrow and #XMen, she also sealed an endorsement contract with Christian Dior. This enabled her to pull in $18 million, bumping her up $12 million from her numbers last year. Next in line are Reese Witherspoon ($16.5 million), Mila Kunis ($16 million), Julia Roberts ($13 million), Cate Blanchett ($12.5 million), Melissa McCarthy ($12 million) and Gal Gadot ($10 million).
