Ford has recalled more than two million cars that are reportedly rolling away when put in park.
Six reports of property damage and four reports of injuries related to an issue with Ford vehicles has been reported to the National Highway Safety Administration, CBS News reports. As a result, 2.9 million cars have been recalled.
One of the issues reported has to do with the transmission not shifting into park despite an indicator in the car showing an icon that the car is in fact in park. Incident reports of cars rolling off once a person has gotten out of the car.
The cars that were affected include 2013 to 2019 Escapes, the 2013 to 2018 C-Max, 2013 to 2016 Fusion and the 2013 to 2021 Transit Connect, CBS News reports. No deaths have been reported as it relates to recall.
