Jade Roper Tolbert, a former contestant on ”Bachelor,” won an impressive $1 million during a DraftKings fantasy football event this weekend. But, the fantasy football betting company now believes that she may have cheated with the help of her husband, Tanner Roper, by coordinating her lineups to align with his 150 entries in order to increase their chances of winning.
Jade, who appeared on season 19 of “Bachelor” as well as season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” where she met her husband, Tanner, took to Twitter to celebrate her win, saying it “Doesn’t even feel real over here.”
However, in response, several called out and accused the former contestant of cheating.
“Everyone realizes the two of them max entered and split their player exposure, right? And that is illegal,” one user wrote, as another added, “She and her husband cheated, end of story.”
Since then, DraftKings confirmed to TMZ that they have now launched an investigation into Jade’s winning.
”We take the integrity and fairness of our contests very seriously and are looking into this matter,” the company said in a statement.
But, the Tolberts have yet to comment on the investigation.
