Former Bad Boy rapper, Craig Mack, has passed away at the age of 46.
Mack hit the scene in the 90’s with his best-selling summer hit, ‘Flava In Ya Ear’ in 1994. The Long Island rapper died due to heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, S.C., home Monday, which was confirmed by New York Daily Times.
Mack’s producer, Alvin Toney, stated that he visited Mack last week at Overcomer Ministry church in Walterboro, to film a documentary on his life and his choice to pass on fame.
“Nobody got to understand his story. I wanted the world to know the talent he had. It was something I wanted people to enjoy, but it was cut short because he was very religious and wanted to go to church,” he said.
According to the producer, Mack has been ill for some time and was prepared for whatever came his way.
Mack is survived by his wife and two children. Our prayers are with the Mack family.
