In the heat of the NFL’s questionable hiring tactics, more people are coming forward about the actual games happening behind the scenes. Former Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson suggested the team’s owner offered him money to lose games.

In the aftermath of Brian Flores shockingly suing the NFL and three teams, the Dolphins, Broncos, and Giants over racial discrimination allegations, the lawsuit opened the floor for others coming forward. After the news broke, Jackson turned to Twitter to let out his frustration in a series of tweets.

He implied Jimmy Haslam, owner of the Cleveland Browns, was happy as long as the Browns kept losing games.

Well Jimmy Haslam, was happy while we kept losing.

One user says he wasn’t getting paid for nearly as much, but Jackson shut down the negative feedback to say he received a “good number.”

Trust me it was a good number!

Jackson also expressed how he believes Flores and will be standing with him.

I stand with Brian Flores. I can back up every word i’m saying.

Some accused Jackson of waiting too long to express his thoughts and playing the “victim card.”

Jackson’s claims come after Flores’s lawsuit alleging racial discrimination in the process of NFL coaching. He was fired in December despite leading the Dolphins to a 24-25 record in the past three years.  Though he is filing a lawsuit, he still wants a job coaching in the NFL.
