Cory “Ghost” Holland, a former drug kingpin, is locked in a heated $1 billion lawsuit against 50 Cent, claiming that the hit TV series “Power” closely mirrors his life story. Holland alleges that the series, specifically the character Ghost, is based on his real-life experiences, which he detailed in a 2007 CD titled Blasphemy. He claims he sent this CD to Courtney Kemp’s father, the series co-creator, as a plea for a legitimate exit from the drug trade.
Holland accuses 50 Cent and the show’s creators of exploiting his life story for profit without his permission. The lawsuit has taken a dangerous turn with Holland making a chilling threat to 50 Cent’s lawyers, which has put the rap star’s legal team on high alert.
In an exclusive report obtained by AllHipHop.com, Holland warned, “If a m########### gets killed because your m############ client threaten me and my family, file a m############ motion for that.” He continued, escalating the tension, “I ain’t playing with your m########### client no more, next time he or anyone he sends pull up, f### the litigation.”
