Former Employee Of 2Chainz’s Restaurant Sues Rapper For Allegedly Cheating Him Out Of  $25,000

A former employee of 2 Chainz’s  Atlanta restaurant has accused the rapper of tricking him out of $25,000 in commissions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Leon Wiggins has filed a lawsuit against 2Chainz and the rapper’s business partner Mychel “Snoop” Dillard claiming the restaurateurs breached his contract and never paid him commissions. He claims the bosses went back on their promise to pay him more for the business he brought to their establishments EscobarRestaurant, Tapas, and their currently closed Hookah spot MRD Kings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Bossip reports that Wiggins claims to have made a deal with the owners back in 2018 and that he served them as an assistant manager for both of their food businesses. He states in the lawsuit that the two parties made a deal with him to sell a certain amount of food and liquor, and he delivered the results he was asked of for five months. After meeting the goal, he claims they owed him a total of $24,713, which he says he was never paid to him even after he resigned in April 2019. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Because 2Chainz and Dillard never responded to the case, Wiggins asked a judge for a default judgment. But on the other side, Dillard and 2Chainz say they were never served properly. Eventually, the two responded to the suit earlier this year requesting Wiggins to drop the case. Dillard and 2Chainz both say they have no knowledge of any deal they made with Wiggins about commissions but agree that he was once their employee. They say they do not owe Wiggins anything.

Nevertheless, that doesn’t change Wiggins’ attitude about the issue, as he is awaiting his moment in court. Now, in addition to what he believes he is owed, he also wants money for the damage he feels the pair have caused him, as well as his lawyer fees paid. All three of them were scheduled to meet in court last month, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
