French Montana may be in some legal trouble. After dropping the song and visuals for “Handstand” with Doja Cat, featuring Saweetie, “Hot Boys” rapper Turk says the lyrics are his!
Turk and his legal team filed a demand letter to French Montana and his lawyer, saying the Moroccan rapper ripped off his lyrics.
TMZ obtained the letter. Turk says that Montana took lyrics without permission from the 1999 hit, “I Need a Hot Girl.”

Hot Boys was a 90s group with rappers Lil Wayne, Turk, B.G., and Juvenile. The song was very popular and hit the Billboard 100 in the 90s.
Apparently, Montana’s lyrics, “I need a project b****, a hood rat b****. One don’t give a f*** and say she took that d***” is very similar to the song’s lyrics, Turk claims. The 90s rapper is willing to settle it, and French Montana’s lawyer says French is looking to rectify the situation. He purchased the beat and hook with the understanding that all was okay.
It should get resolved very soon, according to TMZ.
