Former Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Prince is facing domestic violence charges after police say he punched his girlfriend.
Miami-Dade County jail records show the ex-reality star was taken into custody Wednesday around 2 p.m. The 31-year-old, whose real name is Christopher Harty, was hit with multiple charges, including battery and kidnapping.
According to the arrest report, Prince’s girlfriend went to his apartment to return his shoes. When the woman tossed him his shoes, he then grabbed her, slammed her to the ground and punched her in the mouth. Following that, he dragged her by her hair and stopped her from leaving the apartment before she was able to break away and run to the elevator.
In addition to the charges related to domestic violence, Prince was also hit with less serious charges, including possession of drugs without a prescription and disorderly conduct. He appeared in court Thursday morning, where he was granted a $25,000 bond.
