Former NY Mayor Giuliani Says Black Kids Have A 99% Chance Of Killing Each Other & BLM Is Racist; Gives Advice To Black Fathers

In the wake of events like the police-involved deaths of #AltonSterling and #PhilandoCastile and the deaths of multiple officers shot by an alleged sniper in #Dallas, many politicians are giving their opinions on the matters.

One of the latest to join the conversation is former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani. During an appearance on CBS’ Face The Nation, Giuliani made a number of not-so factually-based comments regarding black people in America.

According to Giuliani, the #BlackLivesMatter movement is “Anti-American” and “inherently racist.” In regards to dealing with the issues that the movement raises “on the black side,” Giuliani feels that he has the answers. “You’ve got to teach your children to be respectful to the police, and you’ve got to teach your children that the real danger to them is not the police,” Giuliani said.

In retrospect, Giuliani says that the attention put on black lives taken at the hands of police officers is unfair and unhelpful to the bigger issue, instead he provides a different solution for “protecting black lives.” His fix? Teaching black children that “the real danger to them is not the police, the real danger to them, 99 out of 100 times … are other black kids who are going to kill them,” Giuliani stated. “Thats the way they’re going to die.” He went on to add that if he “were a black father,” he’d tell his black son to he added, he’d warn his son to “be very careful of those kids in the neighborhood and don’t get involved with them because, son, there’s a 99% chance they’re going to kill you, not the police.”
