Four underage males were arrested and charged on Wednesday for kidnapping and raping another young victim, whose name and age will not be revealed due to privacy concerns.
According to the Daily Mail, the incident occurred in Delaware on December 11 after the four boys, identified as Kabarshenay Ellis-Pinkney, 14, Louis Miller and Joseph James-Carter, 13, and Ja’den Glover, 12, dragged the girl into a home in Bear, 11 miles southwest of Wilmington, and raped her, as she resisted and screamed ‘no’ more than 15 times.
Afterwards, Miller and James-Carter threatened the victim with a weapon and warned her to keep the incident a secret, or else. However, the incident was still somehow reported, and detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Family Services launched an investigation into the incident.
The four boys were then identified and linked to the crime with a video found on the victim’s phone. The boys were later arrested and charged with felony counts of first-degree rape, kidnapping, conspiracy, and second-degree unlawful sexual contact, police said. Meanwhile, Miller was charged with an additional count of felony possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, one count of felony aggravated menacing, one count of misdemeanor terroristic threatening, one count of misdemeanor theft and one count of misdemeanor engaging the welfare of a child. On the other hand, James-Carter was slapped with one additional count of felony possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and one count of felony aggravated menacing.
Miller is being held in lieu of a $65,500 secured bail, according to Daily Mail, while the other three are being held pending cash bail of $104,000.
In addition, officials say the investigation has left them concerned that there may be other victims.
