Four Nelly Hits That Still Get The Party Jumping To This Day

Nelly stands as one of hip-hop’s biggest stars after emerging onto the scene in the early 2000s. The St. Louis native quickly captivated audiences with his 2000 debut album, “Country Grammar,” which was certified diamond in 2016. The album gave birth to its renowned title track, which remained a fixture in clubs for years to follow. With such a remarkable debut, Nelly proved that this success was just the beginning, as he continued to produce hits that continued to get the parties across the globe jumping two decades into his career.

Nelly – Hot In Herre (2002)

“Hot In Herre” is a smash hit single by Nelly, released in 2002 as part of his sophomore album “Nellyville.” The song quickly became a cultural phenomenon, topping charts worldwide and earning critical acclaim for its infectiously catchy chorus. This cut is now two times platinum and is a guaranteed banger at any function.

Air Force Ones (2002)

“Air Force Ones” is a tribute to Nike’s iconic sneaker, featuring rappers Ali, Murphy Lee, and Kyjuan boasting about the shoes’ colors and designs. The song is known for boosting the shoe’s popularity and remains a hit from Nelly’s “Nellyville” album. This timeless bop remains a must in DJ sets, getting the crowd going, especially those who happen to be sporting a fresh pair of Force’s.

Nelly – Tip Drill (2003)

“Tip Drill” is likely Nelly’s most controversial track, featured on his 2003 album “Da Derrty Versions: The Reinvention.” While the racy music video for the single was only permitted on “BET Uncut” due to its graphic nature, which was a bit much for the time, the track itself remains loved by fans, particularly those who frequent the strip club.

Nelly – Grillz feat. Paul Wall, Ali & Gipp (2005)

“Grillz” is a hip-hop single by Nelly featuring Paul Wall, Ali & Gipp. Released in 2005, the song became a chart-topping hit, known for its catchy hook and playful lyrics celebrating the trend of blinged-out grillz. This track sold a million copies and continues to be synopsis with the many gold and diamond teeth of the world.

Nelly’s impact on the club scene is truly iconic. His music, characterized by infectious beats, memorable hooks, and irresistible energy, has consistently ignited dance floors. While these are not Nelly’s only club hits, they are certainly strong standouts.
