Four Seasons Is Taking Its Luxury Hotel Experience to Sea With a New Cruise Ship Line [Video]

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is trying its hand at luxury sea vacationing with the launch of its new Caribbean cruise.

Dubbed Four Seasons Yachts, the high-end fleet will set sail in 2025. Some of the first destinations will include the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Guests will enjoy an “unmatched crew-to-guest ratio” and exciting itineraries and excursions lined up to make every stay worthwhile.

Each ship will be equipped with only 95 suites, adding a layer of exclusivity to the luxe voyages. Travelers will be accommodated with top-of-the-line living quarters that feature floor-to-ceiling windows in rooms and access to private terrace decks. Some of the suites will be as small as 581 square feet. However, about sixty percent of the suites onboard will be about 818 square feet, so most tourists will likely have a bigger room. For the lucky guests who get the chance to stay in the yacht’s 9,601 square feet four-level suite, it will include a private spa, and a private wading pool will be available for personal use. All of the 95 rooms will cost approximately $4.2 million to build.

Constructing the fleet is a team effort with Swedish architect Tillberg Design designing the yacht’s exterior and guest suites. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, based out of London, will take charge of designing the common guest areas. Lastly, travel publisher Prosper Assouline will lend its expertise to the design team to ensure their posh standards are met.

Four Seasons will also offer extensions linking the cruise extensions with stays at various Four Seasons hotels.
