By now, everyone is over Donald Trump, including one of his biggest supporters.
Fox News host Sean Hannity has always maintained his support for Trump on air. However, CNN reporter Brian Stelter revealed in his book that an associate of Hannity claimed in private that he “would tell you, off-off-off the record, that Trump is a bats— crazy person.”
The excerpt from the book, “Hoax,” published by Vanity Fair on Thursday, details the relationship between Trump and Hannity. Another associate of Hannity also told a similar tale of his true feelings towards the celebrity in chief.
“Hannity has said to me more than once, ‘he’s crazy,'” the associate revealed.
The excerpt further explains that Hannity is treated “like Melania” by Trump and has had to counsel him “at all hours of the day.” This has reportedly taken a great toll on the Fox News host. In the early days of Trump’s presidency, it was reported that Hannity had even “gained weight and vaped incessantly” due to “Trump-related stress.”
He allegedly told a colleague, “If you were hearing what I’m hearing, you’d be vaping too.”
