FOX Soul has unveiled the official trailer for the drama/thriller film “Where Hearts Lie,” which will premiere on the app this month.
The free streaming platform, which delivers quality Black content, will bring viewers the tale of single father and entrepreneur Brave Williams who becomes entangled in a romance with a deranged woman who threatens to destroy his entire life and the life of his child.
The film was written, directed, and produced by Tony Lindsay and features an impressive cast of Hollywood’s most promising Black actors. Clifton Powell, Malik Yoba, and Alexander Mulzac are among the stars in the flick. Initially debuted in 2017 on AspireTv, the film has made its way through the film-festival circuit and is now finding a home on FOX Soul, which is home to TEA-Gif and Cocktails With Queens.
Lindsay praised FOX Soul for providing Black creators with a platform to display their art. He hopes that the movie will positively showcase single fathers while also highlighting mental health and child abuse issues in the Black community.
Fans can enjoy the film when it debuts on FOX Soul on December 18th.
