Foxy Brown appears to have shaded Lil Kim for claiming that her autobiography, The Queen Bee, will outsell the Bible.
After Lil Kim faced widespread ridicule for her bold statements, her former rival, Foxy Brown, has seemingly shared her perspective. Brown took to her Instagram Story to post a simple “BIBLE” message accompanied by a laughing face emoji. Kim originally made these remarks about surpassing the Bible in sales last week during an Instagram Live session, where she stated, “When we post our pre-sales, we be surpassing the Bible.”
She continued, “And that’s crazy. And the thing is, it’s like the Bible like I don’t take that lightly. I already know that. But it’s like some crazy shit going on behind the scenes.”
It’s important to note that the Bible is widely recognized as the best-selling book of all time, with estimated global sales ranging from five to seven billion copies. In comparison, the highest-selling memoir is “The Diary of Anne Frank,” which has sold approximately 35 million copies since its debut in 1947.

The two rapper’s feud began in the late ’90s when both Kim and Foxy were prominent figures in hip-hop. Their animosity escalated with a shooting incident outside a New York studio. Over the years, Foxy has maintained her criticism of Kim through her music and interviews.
The shade even caught the attention of Claudia Jordan, who then engaged in a war of words with Brown in Kim’s honor.
Nevertheless, Kim announced her memoir in 2021 and disclosed that she had completed the writing process earlier this year. The book is slated for release in September 2024, per a press release. It’s expected to focus on Kim’s intricate, high-profile relationships, her efforts to challenge the industry’s misogyny, her struggles with the double standards of self-image and beauty in the spotlight, and the significant act of loyalty that ultimately led to her incarceration.
