Frank Ocean Takes Legal Action Against Travis Scott For Allegedly Changing His Voice On Astroworld’s “Carousel”

Frank Ocean and Travis Scott are going head-to-head in a legal battle over Scott’s #Astroworld album.⠀⠀⠀

Reports show Ocean’s lawyers hit Scott with a cease and desist letter ordering his voice be taken off the track “Carousel,” a song the pair teamed up on for Scott’s album. Ocean claims that his voice was changed on the song by being auto-tuned. There are currently no details on how the song originally sounded with Ocean’s voice. However, TMZ reports Scott does not intend to remove his voice from the track.

“Carousel” has received over 3.1 million plays on YouTube making it one of the album’s more popular songs. The album came out last month and quickly topped the Billboard 200 chart, according to Page Six.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Scott’s representation refuses to comment on the legal dispute. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old rapper is gearing up for his one-day Astroworld Festival in at NRG Park in Houston on Nov. 17.
