Coachella Co-Founder Says Frank Ocean Will Headline the 2023 Festival

In an interview with Steve Appleford for the Los Angeles Times, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival co-founder Paul Tollett revealed that Frank Ocean will be headlining the 2023 Festival.

Appleford wrote, “Normally, Tollett would never reveal the name of any act so far in advance, but he says fans deserve some reassurance after the chaos and uncertainty of the last year and a half.” Tollett said, “Right now, it’s the Wild West, I’m just trying to be as fair as I can to artists and to the fans to make sure that eventually, they get to see everyone that we talked about.”

Due to the pandemic, Frank Ocean was supposed to headline Coachella 2020, but it never happened. Coachella was last held in 2019, but it is set to return in April 2022, with Ocean’s intended co-headliners, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott.

According to The New York Times, a third headliner for 2022 will be announced.
