Rapper French Montana has partnered with MTV and New York City-based nonprofit educational organization Get Schooled to launch a ‘We Are the Dream’ campaign.
‘We Are the Dream’ is dedicated to assisting thousands of high school to college-aged undocumented immigrant students, residing here in the states, with their goals to attain higher education.

Through the newly-established campaign, those in seek of furthering their schooling will be provided with the proper resources and aid to pave their path to success and self-betterment.

“I am one of tens of thousands of first and second generation immigrants who are having a significant, positive impact on the United States,” Montana told Rolling Stone. “I am excited to lead others in this fight to ensure [that] dreamers connect with [the] support they need to get to college and make their American Dream come true.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To kick things off, Montana—who immigrated to the United States at the tender age of thirteen, will be spearheading the ‘We Are the Dream’ social media campaign.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In support of the movement, fans are asked to post selfies to their Twitter or Instagram accounts, using the #WeAretheDream hashtag, in order to “spread awareness and stand in solidarity with the belief that everyone should be able to go to college.”
