French Montana is not interested in discussing Diddy.

The rapper, who’s been closely tied to the mogul for over a decade through Bad Boy Records, made that crystal clear during a recent run-in with paparazzi at LAX. Initially upbeat while chatting about the Met Gala, French’s mood shifted the moment he was asked about Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles. Without hesitation, he walked off, simply saying, “Come on, man.”
In a move that only drew more attention, his security approached the cameraman and requested, “Don’t put that last part,” before realizing it was live-streamed and out of their control.
French isn’t new to controversy surrounding his friendships. Last summer, he was heavily criticized for bringing Andrew Tate, an accused rapist awaiting trial on human trafficking charges, on stage during a set at Romania’s Beach, Please Festival. Midway through the show, French welcomed Tate, telling him, “Romania loves you, my brother,” and later announced they had recorded a podcast together.
The “Unforgettable” star also caught flak earlier this year for recording a record with Lara Trump, which many believed proved him to be a MAGA supporter. Rumors even surfaced that the pair were getting close on a romantic level, though that doesn’t appear to be factual.
