Between Wendy Williams’ struggle with Graves disease, her recent shoulder injury and rumors of self-medication, sources close to the Gossip Queen are skeptical about the future of her hit namesake show.
Although, according to Love B. Scott, Williams’ talk show has been renewed through the 2019-2020 season on Fox networks, sources say the host’s health concerns have thrown a wrench in any plans for further renewal.
In the meantime, Williams is looking to put an end to the rumors aboout her husband’s infidelities – or at least stop them from spreading – as her legal team sent B. Scott a cease and desist letter on Wednesday, demanding a retraction for claims about her alleged self-medication and rumors her husband got his mistress pregnant.
“Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your ‘sources,’ even if not specifically enumerated herein,” the letter read.
In response, however, B. Scott highlighted the fact that WIlliams previously denied her husband’s alleged transgressions, following Daily Mail’s year-long investigation into Hunter’s extramarital affair. In fact, the publication also acknowledged that Williams admitted and apologized for medicating and its effect it had on her just last week.
