The 25-year-old entered the plea during a hearing, which took place via Zoom while he was in Los Angeles.
In these new charges filed in May, Herb is accused of lying to a federal officer in November 2018. Allegedly, the rapper stated that he’d never provided money to or received goods from Antonio “T-Glo” Strong, who is said to be the scam’s ringleader. The charges claim that Herb stated he had no direct relationship with Strong when he’d received private jet charters, luxury car rentals, and other services since 2016. The “PTSD” star is just one of six defendants in the $1.5 million fraud and identity theft case.
G-Herbo was originally charged in December in the stolen credit scam. The new charge of making false statements to a federal agent carries a maximum prison sentence of five years. G-Herbo has maintained his innocence. His next pre-trial court date is slated for August 5th.
