Gabourey Sidibe Is Having Twins!

“Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe has announced that she is expecting twins.

The actress shared the big news on Tuesday via Instagram. In the post, Sidibe, sporting a pink sweater dress and boots, posed with her husband, talent manager Brandon Frankel, as he held on to her growing belly. The pair were inside the Beverly Hills Babylist store, where they held a photoshoot as they shopped for matching strollers and created their baby registry.

“I’m pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we’re giving them each a baby to take care of! Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!” Sidibe captioned the post.

Sidibe and Frankel have been married since March 2021 after getting engaged during the pandemic. These will be the first babies for both of them. However, they are cat parents who frequently share images of their fur babies. Frankel currently holds the marketing and brand lead role at the independent talent agency 33 & West. Sidibe has appeared in several films and TV projects, such as “Seven Psychopaths,” “Antebellum,” “Tower Heist,” and “Empire.” She famously landed an Oscar nomination for her critically acclaimed role in “Precious.”

Upon revealing their baby news, Sidibe’s followers, including Octavia Spencer, Loni Love, Amber Riley, and Tasha Smith, swarmed the comment section to send the happy couple well-wishes. It’s unknown how far along Sidibe is or the genders of her twins. Nevertheless, congratulations!
