Back in 2017, #TheGame filed a lawsuit against Viacom in an attempt to hold them accountable for the $7.1 million lawsuit filed against him by former “She’s Got Game” contestant, Priscilla Rainey.
In the initial lawsuit, Rainey accused the West Coast rapper of sexual assault during an “after hours date” on the now-defunct VH1 reality show. Shortly after, a judge ruled in Rainey’s favor and awarded the former contestant almost $10 million. However, according to The @blast, The Game quickly fired back with a multi-million dollar lawsuit of his own, this time against Viacom for the company’s failure to protect him against Rainey.
In the rapper’s $20 million lawsuit, he said the network failed to make sure the contestants were suitable to compete on the show. In fact, he said Rainey passed a psychological exam during the casting process, but she was approved without further research into her criminal past.

He accused Viacom of choosing ratings “over protecting the Plaintiff and others,” given that they “had knowledge of Rainey’s violent and extensive arrest history. But now, it appears the legal back and forth has officially come to an end, as a judge has denied the rapper’s request to hold Viacom liable for the $7.1 million, the publication reports.
