‘Game of Thrones’ actor Joseph Gatt was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with a minor.
Earlier this month, Gatt was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for contact with a minor for sexual offense. Authorities got word that Gatt was engaging in explicit content with a minor online. On April 6, the LAPD served Gatt with a search warrant at his L.A. home.
It’s not clear how many minors Gatt was interacting with but he was released the same day of his arrest on a $5,000 bail.
Gatt denied the allegations and took to Twitter to state his innocence.
“I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and complete untrue allegations recently leveled against me. They are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release,” Gatt wrote.

He continues, “I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name. Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and understand for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media.”
LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says the case was a “ongoing investigation.” They also encourage anyone with additional information to contact authorities.
